ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 49 incidents Saturday into the early hours of Sunday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Felony theft by taking rims and tires from a vehicle on the 1000 block of West First Street;

-- Burglary on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue, the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue, the 500 block of Louis Avenue and the 400 block of Kingswood Drive;

-- Robbery by sudden snatching on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

-- Assault and rape of a woman, location redacted, the police responded to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital on this call;

-- Simple battery on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue;

-- Entering auto on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

-- Injured animal, a cat had been struck by a vehicle on the 1500 block of Whispering Pines Road. It was taken for emergency care to a veterinarian on the 100 block of Magnolia Street;

-- Armed robbery on the 1100 block of Moultrie Road. A man reported being held up at gunpoint by two black males;

-- Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

-- Simple battery on the 400 block of South McKinley Street;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 2500 block of West Alberson Drive, the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 1700 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 1500 block of Edgerly Avenue, the 2000 block of Riverview Circle, the 1600 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 800 block of North Jefferson Street and the 200 block of East Road;

-- Assault (family violence) on the 700 block of West Second Avenue, the 2200 block of Madison Street and the 200 block of West Second Avenue;

-- Simple battery (family violence) vandalism on the 600 block of West Mercer Avenue;

-- Simple battery (family violence) and violation of a family violence order on the 400 block of West Society Avenue.
