ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany-Dougherty Inner City Authority is mulling its options on the future of the downtown skate park just east of the Flint River after its latest deal for finding an operator for it fell through.
The ADICA board, which is meeting now, had been working a deal with Lane Rosen, owner of the State Theatre. But that effort appears to be dead now.
Among the ideas being discussed is selling the facility.
The Albany Parks and Recreation department reopened the park on June 13 on a temporary basis while ADICA worked out a contract with Rosen.
The park is located on Oglethorpe Boulevard.
