Georgia Supreme Court upholds Mitchell County murder conviction

In April of 2003, Willie Fred Bell of Pelham was found guilty of armed robbery, burglary and murder. The crime was committed in June of 2001 when Marvin Crossman, a 79-year-old trucking company owner, was stabbed to death.
