ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police were searching Tuesday night for Alexander Cortez Moore, 23, as a person of interest for questioning in regard to an aggravated assault Saturday at 110 S. Slappey Blvd.

When police arrived at the location at 2:18 a.m. Saturday, they discovered Roland Watts, 48, who was bleeding from a head injury. An employee at Checkers had noticed that Watts was injured and called 911, police said. EMS arrived on the scene and transported Watts to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he is in fair condition, said a hospital spokeswoman.

Officers also learned that the victim's 2006 bronze Honda Accord, his cell phone and his wallet were all missing.

ALBANY POLICE: Albany police responded to at least 35 incidents on Monday and into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Theft by taking a for rent sign and half a sheet of flooring on the 400 block of Bush Street;

-- Recovered property, a black Glock-19 Austrian handgun found in a backyard on the 300 block of Moultrie Road;

-- Felony theft by taking fishing equipment on the 2600 block of Thornton Lane;

-- Public indecency on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue;

-- Missing person adult on the 200 block of Sunset Lane and the 2600 block of Gillionville Road;

-- Theft by taking of $100 from a wallet on the 3300 block of Old Dawson Road;

-- Aggravated assault, a gunshot through a bedroom window on the 300 block of South Mock Road;

-- Aggravated assault on the 400 block of West Tift Avenue;

-- Theft by taking a bench and plastic chairs from the front of a store on the 1000 block of Slappey Boulevard;

-- Burglary on the 300 block of Slappey Boulevard, the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 1900 block of Avalon Avenue;

-- Family violence on the 100 block of Almond Drive;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue, the 600 block of Zachary Avenue, the 2300 block of Gordon Avenue, the 100 block of Force Drive and the 700 block of Ninth Avenue;

-- Domestic on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

-- Simple battery (family violence) on the 1600 block of Gardner Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 11 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

-- Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 3500 block of Sylvester Road;

-- Robbery by force, three black juveniles assaulted a man and stole $60 on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court.

LEE SHERIFF: Lee County sheriff's deputies responded to at least four calls, according to police reports.

Deputies responded to incidents including:

-- Entering auto on the 100 block of Long Pine Drive;

-- Criminal damage to property on the 200 block of Cedric Street;

-- Burglary on the 1100 block of U.S. 82.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to eight calls, including a vehicle fire, four activated alarms, a fuel spill, a false alarm and a trash bin fire.
