ALBANY, Ga. -- At 11:44 p.m. Monday, the Albany Police Department responded to an armed robbery in progress at Johnny Carino's.
Assistant Store Manager John Dykes reported that an unknown bandit entered the business and demanded money while pointing what appeared to be weapon. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is a black male approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 in height, and approximately 120 to 140 pounds with a slim build wearing a blue or dark colored shirt, a bandanna, sunglasses and a dark color baseball cap.
