Denise Markowski died before 10 a.m. Wednesday the victim of a probable self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, said a Lee County Sheriff's Office official.
"We cannot be certain it was a suicide until we get autopsy results from the GBI in Macon," said Chief Deputy Lewis Harris. "We are treating it as a death investigation."
