ALBANY, Ga. -- The Boys & Girls Club of Albany have announced that registration for the organization's after-school program will begin Monday.
Parents who wish to enroll their children in the Boys & Girls Club after-school program will be able to register at any of the youth organization's 10 units.
The Boys & Girls Club have four school-based units where the after-school program is conducted on school property and six other units throughout Albany.
According to officials with the organization, the Boys & Girls Club after-school program generally begins at 2:30 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. depending on the specific unit.
The organization provides transportation for students registered with the after-school program from local schools to the closest unit. Parents are responsible for child's pick-up from the Boys & Girls Club units at the end of the day.
The after-school program is available to students ages 6-17 and begins Aug. 9.
Parents who would like to register their children for the program are encouraged to contact the Boys & Girls Club of Albany administrative offices at (229) 439-0196. Free tours of the units are available upon registration.
