Police ask for help finding suspects

ALBANY, Ga. -- Demontavious Davis, 19, also known as "Booker T" is wanted by the Albany Police Department in connection with the theft of electronics during burglaries in East Albany, stated a police e-mail report.

Davis is 5-5 weighs about 114 pounds, the report stated.

"His last known address is in the 100 block of Shelby Lane, Albany," said Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman. "He is already wanted on a probation violation."

In a separate case, a burglar made off with cigarettes and beer after using a concrete block to smash the front door of the Pitt Stop convenience store at 3225 Sylvester Road, said a Dougherty County Police Department detective.

"He was wearing a T-shirt over his head," said police Sgt. Chad Kirkpatrick. "It was around midnight. Anyone who knows him or anything about the burglary can call us at (239) 430-6600."
