Lee County Administrator Alan Ours was named late Thursday night as one of three finalists for the Glynn County Administrator position that will become vacant June 30.
Current Glynn Administrator Charles Stewart is retiring after almost 20 years with the county, and Ours, along with a Florida county manager and an Atlanta businessman, is being strongly considered as his replacement.
Ours came to Lee County in May of 2006 and has been credited with helping facilitate progressive measures that made the county one of Georgia's -- and the nation's -- fastest growing.
