MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Colquitt County jail staff booked one man for murder at 5 p.m. Friday and three others for hiding the murder suspect, a jail spokesman said.
All the suspects were arrested in connection with a June 14 robbery of the Jalisco restaurant, which resulted in the death of one suspected robber and a gunshot injury to the restaurant owner's wife, Rosa Medrano.
Malcolm DeWayne Williams, 21, faces felony murder charges and is in jail with no bail set, a jail spokesman said.
Charged with obstructing an investigation, Derek Eugene Jett, 31, and Darrell Profitt, 48, were in jail in lieu of $1,000 bail, while Jett's sister Cissy, 37, made bail and was no longer in jail, the jail spokesman added.
Arius Martin was killed during the robbery attempt, police said.
