Movies in the Park tonight
ALBANY -- "Imagine That," a light-hearted film starring Eddie Murphy, Yara Shahida and Thomas Hayden Church, will play on the big screen downtown at Riverfront Park tonight.
The weekly Movies in the Park events runs from 7:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.
In "Imagine That," Murphy portrays a financial wizard who loses his money-making magic, only to discover a different kind of magic in the make-believe world created by his 7-year-old daughter, played by Yara.
Albany symphony hits the road
THOMASVILLE -- The Albany Symphony Orchestra plays an "away game" of sorts this evening with a special performance at 7 p.m. at the Thomasville Municipal Auditorium.
The performance by the Albany symphony, led by Maestro Claire Fox Hillard, is being presented by the SOWEGA Council on Aging to benefit the Thomasville Scott Senior Center's Meals on Wheels program.
Tickets can be purchased at the Thomasville Visitors Center.
