A computer search using the Florida license plate of a red Ford Explorer in which a decomposing body was found Thursday in Albany turned up the name of the vehicle's owner.
The Explorer is registered to Leonard Wayne Higgins, of the 400 block of Starratt Road, Jacksonville Fla., according to motor vehicle records.
The Albany Police Department has not said if the body is that of Higgins.
