Hundreds flock to ‘Bids for Bachelors’ Friday

Coupled with a silent auction, the parade of bachelors was fetching dollar figures as high as $750. Participants were bidding on “dates” with the bachelors that included some kind of package which ranged from hot air balloon rides to a full day worth of handy work around the house.
