ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 45 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- A 17-year-old boy was shot in the back on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue. He was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment, it was reported. No further details were immediately available;

-- Distribution of obscene material on the 1500 block of Seventh Avenue;

-- Burglary on the 1900 block of South Skylane Drive and the 100 block of Kalmon Avenue;

-- Entering auto on the 1500 block of West Sixth Avenue, the 1400 block of West Sixth Avenue, the 1500 block of West Fifth Avenue and the 800 block of Jackson Street;

-- Missing person, a man was reported to have left a moving vehicle and not returned home on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;

-- Simple battery on the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue;

-- Missing person on the 600 block of Valencia Drive;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1800 block of Melrose Avenue, the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue, the 1300 block of Hobson Street, the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 100 block of Whittlesey Court and the 900 block of Willowood Drive;

-- Assault (family violence) on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;

-- Assault (domestic violence) on the 100 block of Frost Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 28 calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

-- family violence (verbal) on the 4900 block of Old Dawson Road;

-- Traffic crash involving a deer on GA 234 just west of Flowing well Road;

-- Traffic crash (injury) resulting in a drunken driving warrant for the driver of a vehicle that left the road and struck a deer at the intersection of Hardup Road and Halsey Avenue. The driver was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial hospital;

-- Traffic crash on the 400 block of Westover Boulevard;

-- Traffic arrest for drunken driving on the 1500 block of Mock Road;
