Joshua Murfree
Murfree, who was named the lone finalist by the board prompting a law suit from local media, was hired on a 4-3 vote, with Chairman David Maschke, Emily Jean McAfee and Michael Windom voting against. Rev. James Bush, Milton Griffin, Anita Williams-Brown and Velvet Riggins voted in support.
