David Morell suffered a gunshot wound in the upper abdomen after being robbed by two black males, said Phyllis Banks Albany Police Department spokeswoman. He was taken to Palmyra Medical center and taken to surgery, she said.
Morell was with 19-year-old Daniel Landing Knight when they were robbed of cell phones, cigarettes and an amount of cash, Banks said.
