Albany City Commission closes loophole

The Albany city commission voted in a special- called meeting Tuesday morning to close a loophole in the city code that prevented tailgaters at the civic center from legally drinking in the parking lot on game day.

The oversight in the code was discovered earlier this month.

Arena football fans will now be able to resume their pre-game festivities.
