ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 59 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Theft by taking an air conditioner, a felony on the 1500 block of Palmyra Road;
-- Simple battery on the 200 block of Loftus Street;
-- Identity fraud on the 300 block of Carriage Lane;
-- Theft by taking, a felony on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Recovered property, a pistol was found on the ground while prisoners picked up trash on the 2600 block of West Oakridge Drive;
-- Missing person, a juvenile reported missing from the 300 block of Lynn Lane;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;
-- Entering auto on the 1200 block of East Third Avenue;
-- Robbery by intimidation on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue;
-- Battery on the 1600 block of East Broad;
-- Theft by taking $20 worth of sod grass from the side of a building on the 1100 block of Highland Avenue;
--Simple battery on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;
-- Burglary on the 1900 block of Buck Lane, the 1200 block of South Davis Street, the 2200 block of Whispering Pines Road, the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane, the 600 block of South Jackson Street, the 700 block of Eighth Avenue and the 100 block of Shelby Avenue, where $10,000 in damage was done to empty apartments;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 700 block of Cherry Avenue, the 4500 block of Chateau Drive, the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue and the 600 block of West Residence Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1500 block of Martha Avenue, the 1400 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 2400 block of Nottingham Way and the 200 block of Frost Street;
-- An injured pit bull was found on the 200 block of Pinson Road, taken to the Humane Society and euthanized;
-- An abandoned dog on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road was taken to the Humane Society shelter;
-- A black and brown Rottweiler mix dog running at large on the 800 block of Corn Avenue;
-- A diseased and emaciated fox found confined to a drainage pipe was euthanized on the 900 block of Clark Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least five calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including criminal damage, costing $12,000, to air conditioners in a copper tubing theft on the 1900 block of Liberty Expressway.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least seven calls, according to police reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
-- Theft of a $50 Crossman black BB gun with a $10 holster on the 300 block of Hickory Grove Road;
-- Motor vehicle theft of a $5,000 2003 Yamaha Motorcycle on the 1500 block of South U.S .19;
-- Checking account fraudulent withdrawels of more than $4,000 on the 100 block of Third Road;
-- Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Keyridge Drive;
-- Drunken driving, fleeing with intent to elude on the 2800 block of Ledo Road.
