ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 53 incidents Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Entering auto on the 1200 block of Eager Drive and the 500 block of North Washington Street;
-- Burglary on the first block of Dobbs Drive, the 800 block of West Gordon Street, the 1400 block of North Davis Street, the 500 block of Jeffries Avenue and the 600 block of 16th Avenue;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 600 block of Sandalwood Circle and the 1700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
-- Simple battery on the 1600 block of Malone Drive and the 400 block of Flint Avenue;
-- Theft by taking children's bicycles from a yard on the 900 block of Oakdale Court;
-- Missing juvenile on the 200 block of Pine Avenue;
-- Armed robbery on the 1900 block of Buck Lane;
-- Theft by taking a felony on the 700 block of Pine Avenue;
-- Simple battery (domestic) on the 1200 block of Kingston Court;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 600 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue and the 100 block of Thornton Drive.
-- Assault, vandalism (family violence) on the 2500 block of Hilltop Drive;
-- Battery (domestic) on the 800 block of Byron Road;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 600 block of West Residence, the 700 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 13 calls, according to available police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Criminal trespass on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
-- Entering auto, theft of items including jumper cables, a vehicle scanner, a CD case and a checkbook worth $420 on the 100 block of Bennett Drive;
-- Burglary, theft of a $1,500 laptop computer and flatscreen monitor on the 300 block of Ramsey Road;
-- Domestic violence (verbal) on the 600 block of Holly Drive;
-- Burglary, theft of $2,000 worth of copper and electrical wires on the 100 block of Pinson Drive;
-- Domestic violence (verbal) on the 800 block of Putney Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 46 calls on Thursday. There were 31 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and two other calls. Medical calls included, five chest pains, one respiratory problems, one fainting, three altered mental state, two diabetic complaints, one mental problem, five miscellaneous pain calls and 13 various medical. Trauma calls included six vehicle crash injuries and seven falls. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
