1. Mitchell County (8-1)
They Eagles have wrapped up the region title and look ready for a run at state. Next: Friday vs. Terrell County, 7:30 p.m.
2. Lee County (7-2)
The Trojans clinched a playoff spot with the sixth winning season in the school's history. Next: Thursday at Warner Robins, 7:30 p.m.
3. Americus-Sumter (6-3)
The Panthers are unbeaten in Region 1-AAA and meet state-ranked Cairo for the title on Friday. Next: Friday vs. Cairo, 7:30 p.m.
4. Deerfield-Windsor (9-0)
The Knights can wrap up a perfect season with a win against rival Southland Next: Fridayat Southland, 7:30 p.m.
5. Seminole County (6-3)
After a big win against rival Miller County the Indians, who have a loss out of state and a forfeit, land in the Fab Five with only one loss on the field in Georgia. Next: Friday at Randolph-Clay, 7:30 p.m.

Deerfield Windsor's two-way star who had a big night on both sides of the ball, after DWS beat Westfield, 21-7, in a showdown between the top two ranked GISA teams in the state.

WHO: Justin Walker, QB, Lee County.
WHY: Walker completed 27 of 45 passes for 294 yards and two TDs, and also ran for a 10-yard TD to help Lee County clinch a playoff berth with a 28-27 win against Bainbridge.

Herald Heisman Watch:
Charles Strafford, QB, Monroe: Strafford, a freshman, has looked good every time he has played. He completed 4-of-4 passes and two touchdowns in a 34-14 win against Dougherty.
Cardaryle Ccurry, rb, randolph-clay: Curry rushed for 140 yards on 19 carries and scored four touchdowns in a 41-6 win against Calhoun County.
Terrance Burnette, QB, SHERWOOD: Burnette completed 7 of 8 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-10 win against Tiftarea.
Justin Walker, QB, Lee County: Walker is one of the leading passers in Georgia, and added 294 yards and two TD passes last week in a 28-27 win against Bainbridge.
