Fab Five
1. Mitchell County (9-1)
They Eagles haven't lost to a Class A team all year but face a big test against state-ranked Savannah Christian in the first round of the playoffs. Next: Friday vs. Savannah Christian, 7:30 p.m.
2. Lee County (7-3)
It has been a memorable season for the high-flying Trojans, who will have to rebound after a loss at Warner Robins in the season finale. Next: Friday at Griffin, 7:30 p.m.
3. Americus-Sumter (6-4)
The Panthers will be at home in playoffs for only the second since consolidation after a remarkable season of surprises and a second place region finish to Cairo. Friday vs. Washington County 7:30 p.m.
4. Deerfield-Windsor (10-0)
The Knights are home throughout the playoffs with a chance to become the first perfect DWS team in history. Next: Friday vs. Griffin Christian, 7:30 p.m.
5. Seminole County (7-3)
Chris Brown is back and the Indians, who will be at home this week, look ready to make a run in the playoffs. Next: Friday vs. Emanuel County Institute, 7:30 p.m.

WHY: Tabb rushed for 140 yards on 12 carries and three touchdowns and also returned a fumble for a 36-yard TD to help SGA beat Brookwood, 41-14.

Chris Brown, RBb, Seminole: Brown, who missed the first nine games with a dislocated hip, returned to gain 188 yards and rush for a TD. He also scored on a 66-yard reception in a 49-17 win against Randolph-Clay.
Justin Walker,QB, Lee County: Walker set a state record with 591 yards in the air, completing 42 of 70 passes and five TDs in a 48-35 loss to Warner Robins.
Sanford Seay, WR, Lee County: Seay caught 14 passes for 209 yards and scored three touchdowns in Lee's 48-35 loss to Warner Robins.
g quentin heard, rb deerfield-windsor: Heard rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns, and also returned an interception for a TD in Deerfield's 40-7 win against rival Southland. .
