ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 26 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Thefts by taking on the 2200 block of Toledo Drive, the 1200 block of Cranford Drive and the 300 block of West Third Avenue;

-- Burglary; police arrested suspects as they attempted to run away with two televisions on the 900 block of Jolly Court;

-- Entering autos on the 500 block of West Third Avenue, the 600 block of North Van Buren Street, the 1700 block of Slappey Boulevard and the 300 block of Tallulah Drive;

-- Simple battery on the 400 block of Lucille Street;

-- Motor vehicle thefts on the 500 block of Ebony Lane and the 100 block of Baldwin Drive;

-- Burglaries on the 1200 block of Maryland Drive and the 2800 block of Burlington Drive;

-- Aggravated assault; gunshot fired into a residence's back door on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;

-- Assaults (family violence) on the 2200 block of Grady Street, the 1300 block of Hobson Street, the 800 block of Lippett Drive and the 1600 block of Whiting Drive;

-- Battery, burglary (domestic) on the 600 block of 10th Avenue.
