Albany, GA. - The Albany Police Department reports that two armed men attempted to rob five men as they played cards and pool at a private residence around 1:00 a.m. Thursday. One of the five would-be victims had a weapon and fired on the two suspects. One of the injured was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital at that time and the second man later showed up at Palmyra Medical Center.
The names and conditions of the two men are not currently available.
