Albany, GA. - On Thursday, October 7, a "Drive on Thru, Prevent the Flu" event will be held in the parking lot of Robert Cross Middle School.
Drivers will be able to get the influenza shot from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Vaccination forms that residents can fill out beforehand are available at local businesses or the Dougherty County Health Department. The forms will also be available on-site.
This year's flu formula also protects against the Pandemic 2009 H1N1 virus.
The cost is $25 per dose and the health department accepts cash, checks, Medicaid, Medicare, PeachState, WellCare, and AmeriGroup and state health benefit plans of United Healthcare and Cigna.
