1. Lee County (5-0)
Still perfect after five games, the Trojans are the surprise team of the year. Next Friday vs. Northside, Columbus, 7:30 p.m.
2. Mitchell County (4-1)
Forget the forfeit win last week, these guys have played lights out all year. Next: Friday at Miller County, 7:30 p..m.
3. Randolph-Clay................... (5-0)
Thunder and Lightning and a whole lot more has the Red Devils rolling along. Next: Friday vs. Terrell County, 7:30 p.m
4. Miller County (4-1)
The Pirates have won four in a row and are headed for a collison with Mitchell this week. Next: Friday at Mitchell County, 7:30 p.m.
5. Deerfield-Windsor (5-0)
The Knights had a bye week, but that shouldn't slow down the top-ranked team in GISA Class AAA. Next: Friday vs. Pinewood, 7:30 p.m.

WHO: Justin Walker, Sr. QB, Lee County
WHY: Walker threw for for 498 yards and five touchdowns in leading Lee County to a huge victory against previously unbeaten Houston County, and faces No. 1 ranked Northside, Warner Robins this week in the biggest game for Lee in years.

Herald Heisman Watch
Cardayrle Curry, RB/LB Randolph-Clay: Rushed for 163 yards, scored three TDs on the ground and had 47 yards in receptions and a TD.
T.T. Barber, RB/LB Miller County: Rushed for 172 yards, including 121 in the first half, and scored a TD in 21-0 win vs. Pelham.
Dillon Driver, QB SGA: Rushed for 149 yards and a TD, and also passed for 100 yards and a TD, and had an interception in 35-21 win vs. unbeaten Valwood.
Jerkerious Scott, QB Terrell County: Rushed for 139 yards and three TDs, including an 82-yarder, and also passed for a TD in 42-28 win vs. Calhoun County.
