ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 37 incidents Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Armed robbery reported at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 600 block of Sands Drive. An armed man jumped into a victim's rental car in the Sand Dunes area, demanded money from the victim and then drove away in the rental car with an undisclosed amount of cash, reports stated;
-- Entering auto, theft of $1,180 in a bank deposit bag from a car on the 1400 block of Waddell Avenue;
-- Violation of domestic violence order on the 1300 block of Hobson Street;
-- Battery on the 600 block of Sands Avenue;
-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of Monarch Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct, three adults in a fight on the 500 block of Seventh Avenue;
-- Burglary on the 400 block of Medlock Court and the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue;
-- Theft by taking on the 2400 block of Cardinal Court;
-- An elderly person reported missing was found and returned on the 300 block of Johnson Road;
-- Theft by taking of a hammock on the 2500 block of Nottingham way;
-- Injured person, child abuse reported on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1300 block of Hobson Street, the 1200 block of Nancy Drive, the 800 block of Cotton Avenue, 400 McKinley Street, the 1800 block of Sycamore Court the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue and the 2800 block of Elton Street;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 2200 block of Palmyra Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least Seven calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Lost property on the 2700 block of Quail Run;
-- Wanted Person on the 300 block of South Mock Road;
-- Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West Third Avenue.
