ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 42 incidents Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Theft by taking air-conditioning units on the 1400 block of Palmyra Road;
-- Burglary on the 2700 block of Don Cutler Drive, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle, 1500 block of Gillespie Avenue and the 1600 block of Archer Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct, an inebriated man shouting profanity on the 2700 block of North Oakridge Drive;
-- Theft by taking $500 in tools on the 2700 block of Shannon Drive;
-- Injured person, an inebriated man fell and hit his head on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
-- Battery on the 300 block of West Tift Avenue, the 300 block of Pinson Road and the 400 block of East Oglethorpe;
-- Simple battery on the 400 block of Lows Avenue;
-- Aggravated assault, a stabbing with no hospitalization or arrest on the 2200 block of Grady Street;
-- Carrying a weapon without a license on the 300 block of East Broad Avenue;
-- Attempt to elude police officer on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Aggravated assault on the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard;
-- Wanted person arrested for deposit account fraud on the 500 block of West Residence Avenue;
-- Missing person on the 1600 block of Gardner Drive;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 800 block of Davis Street, the 200 block of Pinson Road, the 900 block of Dorsett Avenue and the 400 block of South Street;
-- Criminal trespass (domestic violence) on the 700 block of Westover Boulevard;
-- Simple battery (family violence) on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 400 block of West Linden Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 69 calls on Thursday. There were 38 medical calls, 24 trauma calls and seven other calls. Medical calls included, four chest pains, nine respiratory problems, two faint, one altered mental state, two diabetic complaints, one choking, two seizures, two miscellaneous pain calls, two cardiac arrests and 13 various medical. Trauma calls included 19 vehicle crash injuries, two falls and three fights/assaults. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least Three calls, according to police reports.
Deputies responded to incidents including:
-- Motor vehicle theft of a 2005 Chevrolet Impala from the 100 block of Big Oak Drive;
-- Burglary, theft of $1,882 in electronics from the 100 block of Big Oak Drive;
-- Forgery, a bogus $50 bill passed on the 500 block of U.S. 82.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 26 calls, including unauthorized burning, seven activated alarms, medical assist, three vehicle fires, a fire safety program, two vehicle crashes, storage shed on fire, four false alarms, vehicle with overheated brakes, fuel spill, two grass fires, a woods fire and assist EMS with CPR.
