An armed robbery was reported early this morning at an Albany convenience store.
Albany Police Department officials say a man armed with a handgun approached the window at KS Foods, 1104 Newton Road, at 12:25 a.m. today and demanded money from the register.
The cashier stated that the gunman then entered the business through the window. The amount of money taken has not be determined, APD officials said.
The bandit was described as a 5-foot, 8-inch black male about 17 years old with a light complexion. He was wearing blue jeans pants, white t-shirt, and a blue jacket.
