ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 36 incidents from late Tuesday through Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Deposit account fraud suspect arrested on the 800 block of Willie Pitts Road;
-- Motor vehicle thefts on the 1200 block of Van Deman Street, the 1800 block of Marbury Lane and the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Vehicle crash and suspended license arrest at the Clark Avenue exit of the Liberty Expressway;
-- Theft by taking on the 400 block of West Society Avenue;
-- Theft by taking medications from a pharmacy, allegedly by an employee, on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
-- Burglaries on the 500 block of Louis Avenue, the 700 block of Pine Avenue and the 400 block of West Tift Avenue;
-- Entering several autos on the 1200 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Drunken driving on the 2300 block of Stuart Avenue;
-- Prohibited noise on the 100 block of Marie Road;
-- Domestic disturbance (unfounded) on the 700 block of Lockette Station Road;
-- Assaults (family violence) on the 1200 block of Avalon Avenue and the 700 block of Crawford Drive;
-- Battery (family violence) on the 1500 block of McArthur Street;
-- Criminal trespass (family violence) on the 600 block of Harmon Avenue;
-- Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 500 block of Jeffries Avenue.
LEE SHERIFF: Lee County deputies responded to at least five calls Wednesday, according to reports. Deputies responded to incidents including:
-- Theft on the 100 block of Winding Way;
-- Criminal damage to property on the 100 block of Sasser Road;
-- Theft on the 2800 block of Ledo Road;
-- Wanted person held by Albany Police Department picked up and taken to Lee County Jail.
