GOP tour rolls into Albany

ALBANY -- Sens. Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss and other Republican candidates will roll into Albany Tuesday morning as part of the "Real Jobs for Georgia Bus Tour."

The bus is scheduled to arrive at the Thronateeska Heritage Center at 10 a.m.

Joining the two senators will be 2nd Congressional District nominee Mike Keown; attorney general nominee Sam Olens; Commissioner of Agriculture nominee Gary Black; Commissioner of Labor nominee Mark Butler; and Public Service Commission nominee Tim Echols.

"America is at a crossroads. In the final days of this election, it is important to continue carrying our message across the state of Georgia to ensure that our country gets back on the right track," Isakson said.

"Priority one is job creation. I will continue to fight for private-sector growth through lower taxes, less regulation, repealing and replacing the health care law and stopping reckless federal spending.

"Our country has always been one of endless opportunity. I want to see that it stays that way for future generations of Americans."

The Republican candidates will discuss their plans for Georgia's economy and job creation.
