ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 36 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Battery on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
-- Criminal trespass, gang graffiti on a residence on the 1400 block of Van Buren Street;
-- Theft by taking a donation jar off the counter at an animal clinic on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
-- Armed robbery of a man by a gunman, no injuries reported on the 500 block of Ebony Lane;
-- Theft by taking copper from an air conditioner on the 2700 block of Yorktown Avenue;
-- Two children, age 2 and 5, left alone on the 1400 block of East Society Avenue. Information given to Department of Children and Family Services;
-- Disorderly conduct, a man threw beer on a woman on the 1100 block of Roosevelt Avenue;
-- Acquiring gas without payment on the 2700 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Theft by deception, a woman offered a man $10 for a ride home on the 2700 block of Nottingham Way. He took the $10 and dropped her off without driving her home;
-- Disorderly conduct, threats on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
-- Attempted burglary on the 2400 block of Stuart Avenue;
-- Burglary, theft of a 50-inch flat screen television on the 300 block of Gaines Avenue;
-- Burglary, theft of a camera on the 2100 block of Clark Avenue;
-- Burglary on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue, the 500 block of Jeffries Avenue, the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1100 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 500 block of Seventh Avenue and the 200 block of Sunrise Drive;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 400 block of Medlock Drive;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 500 block of South Cleveland Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 12 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Traffic arrest at the intersection of South Mock and Moultrie roads;
-- Domestic violence (verbal) on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue, the 3500 block of Sylvester Road and the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
-- Criminal trespass on the first block of Luke Drive;
-- Missing property, about $1,000 in cash missing from a person on the 1500 block of Skylark Lane.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 67 calls on Thursday. There were 39 medical calls, 24 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included, eight chest pains, one respiratory problem, two faints, two diabetic complaints, two seizures, one obstetrics, three mental problems, three miscellaneous pain calls, one cardiac arrest and 16 various medical. Trauma calls included 14 vehicle crash injuries, seven falls and three lacerations. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
