ALBANY, Ga.: Dougherty County Sheriff's Deputies say that a local businessman has been arrested after an undercover sting allegedly caught him buying hundreds of dollars worth of stolen DVD's.
James Albert Vanzant, the owner and operator of the CD Exchange on Dawson Road, has been charged with three counts of theft by receiving stolen property and fencing retail property. All six counts are felonies, Capt. Craig Dodd with the DCSD said.
Vanzant was charged following a three-day undercover operation in which Vanzant allegedly bought roughly $1,500 worth of DVD's Dodd says he knew to be stolen.
