ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany Police Department officers responded to at least 36 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Motor vehicle theft of a forklift on the 2800 block of Palmyra Road;

-- Entering auto, theft

of a Smith & Wesson handgun on the 2400 block of Temple Avenue;

-- Entering auto on the 1700 block of Gadsden Drive and the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue;

-- Vehicle stolen from Americus recovered on the 900 block of Easeman Drive;

-- Theft by taking on the 300 block of Bonny View Avenue and the 1600 block of Camp Lane;

-- Motor vehicle theft on the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue;

-- Credit card fraud on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

-- Forgery on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;

-- Theft by taking on the 2700 block of South Washington Street;

-- Burglary on the 1200 block of Towering Pines Lane and the 900 block of Mercedes Street;

-- Simple battery on the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue;

-- Police also investigated a rape. The address and all other information was redacted on the report;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 200 block of Slater King Drive, the 600 block of of Kingsbury Lane, the 1800 block of West Broad Avenue, the 1700 block of Jones Avenue, the 2500 block of Cardinal Lane and the 1300 block of Pinehurst Drive;

-- Larceny (family violence) on the 2600 block of Colonial Drive.
