ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department has called off the search for a man they say was wanted for aggravated assault after he surrendered himself today, officials say.
APD announced that Jonterria Marquaski Seay, 21, turned himself over to police at the Law Enforcement Center this afternoon at 2 p.m.
He has been charged with aggravated assault, burglary, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime stemming from a Sept. 15 incident.
Records show in 2008, Seay was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime for shooting 18-year-old Enorris Holley in the leg.
He also surrendered himself to police for that incident.
