1. Lee County (3-0)
The bye week should help the Trojans get ready for their biggest test so far this year: their Region 1-AAAA opener. Next: Friday vs. Northside, Columbus, 7:30 p.m.
2. Bainbridge (2-1)
The Bearcats had the week off, but move up because No. 2 Monroe lost. Now they face the No. 1 Class AAAA team in the state.
Next: Friday vs. Northside, Warner Robins, 7:30 p.m.
3. Mitchell.............................. (2-1)
The Monroe loss moves up the idle Eagles, who open Region 1-A this week against Stewart County.
Next: Friday at Stewart County, 7:30 p.m.
4. Worth (2-2)
The AAA Rams stay put because the loss to Class AAAAA Tift County doesn't hurt as much.
Next: Friday at Americus-Sumter, 7:30 p.m.
5. Monroe................................(3-1)
The Tornadoes take a big fall after being upset by Brooks County. Next: Friday at Cairo, 7:30 p.m.
Players of the Week
Johnny Foster and Cardaryle Curry, Randolph-Clay
They call them "Thunder and Lightning" at Randolph-Clay, where the P.A. announcer also refers to them as Mr. Foster and Mr. Curry. Curry rushed for 184 yards, and Foster ran for 180 and scored three TDs in the 20-6 win vs. Albany at home Friday.

WHO: Sharoski Griffin, QB/WR/DB, Dougherty
WHY: Griffin does a little of everything for the Trojans, and Saturday night he pulled down two touchdown passes (from two different QBs), including the game-winner with 58 seconds left to beat Wilkenson County, 21-19, and push his team back to .500.

A look at the top five perormances of the week
AnTwan Buggs, QB, Seminole: Threw five TD passes (he only threw 10 passes all night) and ran for a touchdown in a 63-18 win vs. Calhoun County.
Quay'van Levatte, QB, Early County: Rushed for 118 yards on just 12 carries, scored on a 72-yard TD run, and had an interception in 21-14 win vs. Westover.
Davis Moore, RB/DB, Deerfield-Windsor: Rushed for 134 yards on 18 carries and also had two interceptions to help DWS beat Bulloch, 19-0.
Mack Green, RB, Sherwood: Rushed for 127 yards on only six carries (22.8 per carry) and scored twice in 43-21 win vs. Bethesda Day.
Phillip English, RB, Sherwood: Rushed for 142 yards on 15 carries in win against Bethesda Day.
