BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference named Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett, Auburn linebacker Josh Bynes and LSU placekicker Josh Jasper players of the week.
Mallett passed for 380 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Georgia. It was the second-highest passing total in Arkansas history.
Bynes had 11 tackles -- including two for a loss -- in Auburn's win over Clemson.
Jasper's five field goals in the win over Mississippi State was an LSU record and one shy of tying the SEC mark.
Vanderbilt tackle Wesley Johnson was offensive lineman of the week while LSU tackle Drake Nevis claimed defensive line honors.
Florida linebacker Jelani Jenkins was freshman of the week.
