ALBANY, Ga.: One of four co-defendants charged in a January killing has entered a guilty plea, prosecutors say.
Eugene Derrick Bell, Jr., who was 19 at the time of the shooting in January, entered the plea this morning as jury selection was set to begin in his trial.
Bell and Lekeisha Rhonecia White, 19, Tavaress Sinqunce Jackson 22, and Kendrick Lewis Sanders, 19, were each charged in connection with shooting death of Dominic King.
Bell has reportedly been sentenced to life in prison for his role in the shooting, sources at the courthouse say.
