ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 30 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Recovered contraband, a bag of a "green leafy substance" was found on the 1900 block of South Flintlock Drive, It tested positive for THC, the ingredient in marijuana that gives the high;
-- Forgery, a bogus bill passed on the 2700 block of Meredyth Drive;
-- Burglary on the 1000 block of Flint Avenue and the 400 block of Kingswood Drive;
-- Simple battery on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
-- Battery on the 600 block of Johnson Road;
-- Two separate reports of Interfering with an officer on the 200 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Missing juvenile on the 700 block of Cedar Avenue;
-- Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue and the 100 block of North Harding Street;
-- Disorderly conduct a man reported with a pistol on the 200 block of West Broad Avenue;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 300 block of South Valencia Street;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1100 block of Avalon Avenue, the 1000 block of East Residence Avenue and the 2300 block of Pierce Avenue and the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 1400 block of Bonny View Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least nine calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Traffic crash on the 1400 block of South Mock Road, the 1700 block of South Slappey Drive and the intersection of Gillionville Road and Weymouth Drive;
-- Criminal trespass on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive;
-- Recovered stolen motor vehicle, a 1999 Chevrolet pickup reported stolen to the Albany Police Department was recovered on the 3200 block of Lily Pond Road.
