ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 29 incidents Sunday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Theft by taking of a motor vehicle on the 400 block of Harding Street;
-- Aquisition of gas without payment on the 300 block of East Oakridge Drive;
-- Missing juvenile on the 100 block of Allen Avenue;
-- Open container on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;
-- Burglary on the 2500 block of Beachview Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 2500 block of Marianne Street and the 1900 block of Palmyra Road ;
-- Drug paraphernalia on the 1000 block of South Davis Street;
-- Recovered contraband (marijuana) on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Criminal damage to property on the 2000 block of Beachview Drive;
-- Wanted person for probation violation on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Entering autos on the 1600 block of Gillespie Avenue, the 2500 block of Schley Avenue, the 2400 block of Schley Avenue and the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Court;
-- Deceased person on the 500 block of South Madison Street;
-- Battery (family violence) on the 3900 block of Rodnor Forest Lane;
-- Shoplifting on the 2400 block of Clark Avenue and the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Possession of a controlled substance on the 2000 block of Schilling Avenue;
-- Simple assault on the 1100 block of Eagles Street;
-- Theft of lost or mislaid property on the 900 block of Corn Avenue;
-- Criminal trespasses on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive;
-- Simple battery on the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane;
-- Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 500 block of Gowen Avenue, the 700 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 1800 block of West Broad Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 11 calls Sunday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Criminal trespass; an unknown person damaged a 2007 Chrysler 300 on the 2000 block of Weymouth Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 49 calls on Sunday. There were 38 medical calls, four trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included four chest pains, eight respiratory problems, one person fainted, three diabetic complaints, three mental problems, six miscellaneous pain calls and 13 various medical calls. Trauma calls included three falls and one fight/assault.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 26 calls Sunday, including two calls of power and cable lines down, one of which caused a grass fire on the 900 block of West Fourth Avenue, two smoke scares, three gas leaks, three EMS assists, two motor vehicle accidents, six activated alarms, three public safety classes, one water leak, two grass fires, one oil spill and an unauthorized burning.
