Albany, GA - A facility meant to teach the community's blind and visually impaired how to live independently has been introduced.
The Albany ARC Center for the Blind held a ribbon-cutting at its 1500-B Gillionville Road location earlier today.
The center is expected to start seeing clients later in the week. There have already been four referrals to the facility, which is able to serve eight to 12 clients at a time over an eight-week period.
