ALBANY -- Low on your intake of the arts? You can get your fill at "A Taste of the Arts" dinner Friday.
Darton College will host the dinner theater, which will feature a Roaring '20s theme, at the college's new student center.
The evening will include dinner, door prizes, a silent auction and performances by students in the Darton art, dance, music and theater departments.
Tickets to the dinner are $60 each, or $50 for multiple tickets, and $400 for tables.
All proceeds from admissions will go to fund scholarships for Darton students studying humanities.
According to Gail Apperson, Darton's Humanities Division secretary, this year's dinner will mark the second time the college has held the fundraiser.
"It's important (to host the dinners) because without them, a lot of students might not be able to attend college and study," she said.
The event begins at 7 p.m. with cocktails and dinner will be served at 8 p.m. Apperson said cocktail attire and costume dress is encouraged.
