Two injured by gunshots

ALBANY, Ga. -- Gunshots rang out at two locations in Albany Saturday morning wounding two at one location.

After an investigation into an about 2:45 a.m. shooting that injured two men at 108 N. Slappey Blvd. police reported arresting three men.

Shannon Jordan, 22, was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a gun during the commission of a crime, stated a police report.

Alexander Hunt, 20, and Tannon Jordan, 22, were each charged with party to a crime and aggravated assault. All three were booked into Dougherty County Jail, said a jail spokeswoman.

"The victims reported that some subjects fired several shots at them from a vehicle," said Phyllis Banks police spokeswoman. "Both victims stated that they heard a group of females arguing and gunshots prior to sustaining their injuries."

Terrell Roberts, 26, was shot in the left knee, Banks said. Antonio Green, 20, suffered gunshot wounds to the left hip and thigh, she added.

They were taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where Roberts was in good condition and Green was discharged.

According to police reports, in an about 5 a.m. shooting at 906 Pinedale Court seven people in a house stated "an unknown black male walked up to the house and fired three shots through the front door. All rounds penetrated the door into the living room area."

No injuries were reported and the case remains under investigation.
