COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) -- A 38-year-old Alabama man accused of shooting four security guards outside a downtown Columbus club waived his preliminary hearing.
Greg James of Phenix City is accused of shooting the men early Sunday. Sgt. Ken Hudson says a 35-year-old and a 49-year-old were struck in the abdomen and remained hospitalized in critical condition.
Hudson says a 27-year-old hit in the left thigh and a 47-year-old struck in the right hand have been treated and released.
Columbus Recorder's Court Judge Michael Cielinski set bonds of $160,000 on four counts of aggravated assault and one count each of theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
