AMERICUS -- Georgia Southwestern sophomore Nate Gahman, a former Lee County star and 2009 Albany Herald Player of the Year, was named to the 16-member Peach Belt Conference men's golf All-Conference team.
Gahman, a Second Team selection, finished the season with the 15th-lowest scoring average in the Peach Belt at 74.1.
The Leesburg native recorded one top-five finish in nine tournaments and finished in the Top 10 on two occasions.
He fired a season-low 69 on Feb. 28, in the second round of the Argonaut Invitational at Pensacola Country Club and finished the tournament at 1-over to tie for sixth in the 75-player field.
In the fall, Gahman finished fourth at the two-round Darton Fall Classic in Albany.
Of the 21 rounds played in 2010-11, Gahman finished par or better six times.
Gahman joins teammate Craig Gibson as the only GSW golfers to earn a PBC All-Conference award. Gibson was named to the first team in 2009-10.
