ALBANY, Ga. -- Jabari Solomon and his brother Michael were arrested on charges of robbing Antonio Lane, 21, at 9:30 a.m. Friday at an Albany bank, an Albany Police Department official said.

Lane, a Zaxby's employee, was approaching the Heritage Bank on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard to make a deposit when he was robbed.

"An armed suspect jumped out of a white Cadillac and approached the victim from behind as he walked up to the bank," said Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman. "There were possibly two additional suspects in the vehicle."

The brothers were each charged with armed robbery and booked into Dougherty County Jail, the police report stated. Jabari Solomon, 21, was the driver, the report added. The Cadillac used as a getaway car was located in west Albany.

Detectives would like help in locating Terrance Recardo Kennedy, 23, in connection with the robbery, the report stated.

The robbery is similar in nature to a 1 a.m. July 28 robbery at the SB&T Bank on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road. A Sonic Restaurant employee was robbed while making a deposit.
