SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- After shooting a 7-under 65 Friday, Josh Broadaway is one shot back of leader Steve Friesen in the Nationwide Tour's Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield, Mo.
Broadaway, a Byne Christian graduate, entered Friday's round in a tie for fourth place but is now all lone in second place and looking for his first Nationwide win.
On Friday, Broadaway posted seven birdies and no bogeys, giving him 13 birdies and no bogeys through the first two days of the tournament. He was just 1-under through his first seven holes before posting birdies on Nos. 8-11. He then finished off his round with birdies on Nos. 17 and 18.
Broadaway, who has been near the top of the leaderboard in several Nationwide tournaments in the past month, tees off at 12:25 today in the final pairing with Friesen.
