Page Two wishes that Dick Cheney would take the ACLU hunting. I note another attack on the Christian front in Florida to remove the Ten Commandments from the entrance to a courthouse.
The ACLU, which I think should stand for "All Communist Lovers Union," have browbeaten federal judges and the Supreme Court into believing that the Constitution's First Amendment relating to separation of church and state means that anything religious on government property is akin to establishing a religion.
The amendment reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The catchphrase here is, "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." By forcing the removal of the Ten Commandments, the ACLU is doing just that.
Three Hundred years ago, the church was the state. This amendment was instituted to make sure that no church would be a government, not that there could be no association! Our forefathers made that very clear by their association with God in putting it on our money, government property and courthouses.
The ACLU has made fools out of our system and judges by leading us blindly over a cliff to hell. If vengeance belongs to the Lord, then may he make the most of it the day the ACLU stands before the gates of Heaven. More Later from Page Two.
