A driver lost control of a black Dodge Ram pickup as he drove on Moultrie Road across from Pecan Lane about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The pickup left the road and crashed into a ditch. The driver died in the pickup and the driver’s side window was draped with a white cover. Dougherty County Police Department officers were at the scene with Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services and the Albany Fire Department. No other information, including the driver’s name, was immediately available.
