Police/Fire/EMS report for Aug. 26

ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 45 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

-- Indecent exposure, saggy pants on the 1800 block of Pearce Avenue and the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;

-- Burglary on the 1200 block of West Linden Avenue, the 1700 block of Clark Avenue, the 1000 block of West Second Avenue and the 600 block of South Van Buren Street;

-- Injured person on the 1400 block of West Third Avenue;

-- Deceased person on the 2200 block of Ashford Road;

-- Entering auto on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

-- Theft by taking on the 1200 block of East Roosevelt Avenue and the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

-- Robbery by force on the 400 block of North Davis Street;

-- Simple battery on the 900 block of Crawford Drive;

-- Missing juvenile on the 800 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

-- Giving false name to an officer on the 1200 block of Maryland Drive;

-- Assault, vandalism (domestic) on the 600 block of Poplar Street;

-- Assault (domestic) on the 3100 block of Crepe Myrtle Court and the 900 block of Mercedes Street;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue and the 1900 block of Stuart Avenue;

-- Theft by taking (domestic) on the 2300 block of Cascade Lane.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 11 calls.

The calls included unattended cooking spread though a house causing $23,000 in damage, fire in the bed of a pickup, motor vehicle crash, a cardiac arrest, four activated alarms, cardiac arrest with a person deceased upon arrival of emergency responders, and two false alarms.
