DAMASCUS -- Bailey Ponder pitched five innings and allowed one hit Monday to lead the Southwest Georgia Academy softball team to a 8-0, five-inning win against Westwood.
Ponder struck out six and walked none to improve the Lady Warriors' record to 5-2. It was just Westwood's second loss of the season.
Jenna Kitchings, Madison Jackson and Addison Ponder each had two RBI for the Lady Warriors, who play again at 4:40 p.m. today at Deerfield-Windsor.
